If you live anywhere near the Arlington, Virgina area, you have undoubtedly dined at Ray’s the Steaks before. Located in the Navy League Building, Ray’s the Steaks is one of Arlington’s busiest and most popular restaurants. So, naturally, they decided to expand.

Ray’s has added an adjacent dining area, which will be called “Retro Ray’s” and will be operated as a separate business. Though the two share a kitchen, the new, smaller addition will not take phone reservations and will only serve walk-in customers. Retro Ray’s will also only be open for dinner Tuesday through Saturday, whereas the original Ray’s is open nightly.

Another perk of Retro Ray’s? The prices! They are using the Ray’s menu and prices from back in 2005, which means you can get a steak for about $3 less than the exact same steak next door! Check out Ray’s The Steaks full menu, complete with descriptions of the different cuts of beef and temperatures here.

Thanks to our friends at ARL Now for blogging about Retro Ray’s! You can call 703-841-7297 after noon daily to make reservations at the original Ray’s.
