It goes without saying that Philly has made a little dish known as the cheese steak sandwich internationally famous. We would be remiss if our list of to-do’s for the City of Brotherly Love did not include the two locations who lay the strongest claim to “best cheese steak in Philly,” Geno’s Steaks and Pat’s King of Steaks.
Located across the street from each other, these two have been serving up steaming beef and melted cheese covered in grilled onions for decades.
When it comes to cheese steaks in Philly, the only question you need to answer is “Geno’s or Pat’s?” Our best recommendation is simply to try both, and then try them again, make up your mind, and go back for thirds.
